Leisure facilities across the Isle of Wight have been boosted by an IT upgrade, with leisure users and staff now benefiting from fuss free facilities thanks to ClarityLive software, from ClarityLive Leisure part of the Omnico Group.
The software upgrade has coincided with a huge investment from the Council to leisure facilities on the island, which has seen the refurbishment of leisure centers at Ryde, Sandown and Newport.
ClarityLive is now being used for internet bookings and cancellations, giving customers the power to choose and book appointments to get the service they want, when they want it. Some 3,000 online bookings a month are now being made through the new system, representing a third of total bookings at the island’s three leisure centres.
The Isle of Wight has been a ClarityLive Leisure customer since 2001. Until May 2012 they were using an early software release, Clarity Flex. Whilst the working relationship with ClarityLive Leisure was very good and the software platform was reliable, the Isle of Wight Council wanted to upgrade to the latest Leisure suite to benefit from new features and functions that would lead to further efficiencies for staff and end users alike.
